H. Dennis Rogers is a trial lawyer in the Tampa Bay area primarily handling medical cases. Although Dennis does not have a medical degree, he has been studying medicine since 1981. Over the past twenty years, Dennis has consulted with physicians throughout the United States concerning medical malpractice actions, wrongful death and nursing home abuse, thereby developing contacts with numerous medical experts whose combined expertise covers virtually every area of medical practice.
As a trial lawyer since 1981 and as a plaintiff’s attorney since 1993, H. Dennis Rogers has been achieving exceptional results for Florida victims of Clearwater medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and negligence, automobile accidents, defective products, premises liability, and other types of personal injury litigation requiring trial lawyer skills and courtroom experience. Dennis is a Florida native from Coral Gables. He was a well rounded athlete playing varsity track and football at Wheaton College and Florida State University (track) where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree with academic honors. He then worked to pay his way through law school at the University of Florida College of Law, where he received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree. Later, Dennis obtained a diploma in advanced trial advocacy from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
Since founding his practice H. Dennis Rogers, P.A., in January, 2000, Dennis has obtained millions of dollars in recoveries in nursing home cases and malpractice lawsuits in Clearwater and throughout West Central Florida. For example, in a medical malpractice case involving a foot-drop injury, Dennis obtained an award of $2,475,000 on behalf of his client.

- Dennis and his wife, Kathy, have been married since 1978. They live in the East Lake Woodlands area of Oldsmar and have two children, Kristen and Matthew. In his spare time, Dennis is also a novelist (The Desert Prophecy by H.D. Rogers).
