Honolulu lawyer Laura Yoshida concentrates her practice in criminal defense matters, focusing mainly on representing those accused of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) in Oahu courts and in hearings before the Administrative Driver’s License Revocation Office (ADLRO).  In addition, Ms. Yoshida represents defendants in misdemeanors such as traffic violations, excessive speeding, and reckless driving, as well as in a range of felonies.  Ms. Yoshida is a trained divorce mediator, and regularly assists clients with uncontested divorces.  She also devotes a portion of her practice to immigration law issues.

Attorney Yoshida prides herself on providing a high level of personal service to her clients and representing their needs in a compassionate and caring manner.  At the same time, she is a strong advocate who works tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome in each case she takes on.  Ms. Yoshida’s knowledge of the law, skills in the courtroom, and familiarity with the people and practices in the courts and administrative offices of Oahu have enabled her to build a track record of positive results for clients.

Ms. Yoshida secured her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Hawaii in Manoa in 1993, and earned her law degree in 1996 from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio.  She is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and is licensed to practice law throughout the state of Hawaii.
