Michael Kevin Murphy is a Virginia military divorce attorney who has practiced military family law for twenty-six years, serving both the military community in Fairfax VA where his law office is located and as an advisor to lawyers dealing with military family law matters throughout the US. Mr. Murphy served with distinction in Vietnam war and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal,Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Parachutist Wings,Vietnam Ranger Badge, and eight Air Medals. His military units were also awarded the Valorous Unit Award and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross. Mr. Murphy also taught as an adjunct professor at Arlington’s George Mason University School of Law.
